PRE-ALI ASSESSMENT

What is a Pre-ALI Assessment?

A Pre-ALI Assessment evaluates the safety functions and operations of your vehicle lifts. At Hydraulic Solutions, as an authorized installer and factory-trained team, we have an in-depth understanding of your lift's technical features and safety protocols.

In Washington State, current laws require commercial businesses to undergo regular ALI Certifications to ensure the safety of both staff and customers. These inspections can be costly and time-consuming, and any violations or concerns identified during the process can directly affect your business operations and revenue.

Hydraulic Solutions is here to assist you. Before scheduling your required inspection, contact us for a Pre-ALI Assessment. While this assessment does not replace the state-mandated inspection or provide certification, it serves as a proactive check to help ensure you pass with ease.

Key Area's of Focus

During our assessment, we perform a multi-point equipment inspection and can immediately address any potential failure points. The goal of our Pre-ALI Assessment is to help you avoid potential failures during the official inspection, allowing you to keep your operations running smoothly without interruptions.

Item's that we assess:

  1. Structural Integrity: Inspecting the overall structure of the lift for any signs of wear, corrosion, or damage.

  2. Safety Features: Verifying that safety features, such as safety locks, emergency stops, and warning devices, are functioning properly.

  3. Electrical Systems: Checking the electrical components, including wiring and switches, for any signs of damage or wear.

  4. Hydraulic Systems: Assessing hydraulic hoses and connections for leaks, wear, and proper functioning.

  5. Lift Operation: Testing the lift’s operation to ensure it raises and lowers vehicles smoothly and without unusual noises or resistance.

  6. Anchor Points: Ensuring that all anchor points are secure and properly installed.

  7. Cable Condition: Examining cables for fraying, corrosion, or any signs of deterioration.

  8. Fluid Levels: Checking hydraulic fluid levels and overall fluid health.

  9. Documentation: Reviewing maintenance records and ensuring that any previous inspection findings have been addressed.

  10. Compliance with Standards: Ensuring that the lift meets local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as ALI certification requirements.
